Performing – Weddings, Private Functions & Choral

WEDDINGS: Having been bridesmaid several times for sisters and friends, Adriene was also invited to sing and play flute for many weddings and funerals professionally. Thanks to Paul & Joanna’s invitation to sing for their wedding in Greater London, their organist Peter Barraclough followed up by promoting Adriene to sing professionally for many London weddings and concerts. It was a joy to hear the very musical Maltese Tenor Jose Calleja perform at one of Peter’s concerts, before his Last Night of the Proms singing at the Royal Albert Hall. Collaboration with Peter Barraclough culminated with his kind invitation to sing in Malta.

Wedding Singing and Flute Critique from Mr A B: “Just a quick eMail to say a very big thank you again for your wonderful performance at my and Helen’s wedding last month. I just wanted to say how marvellous you were and I really appreciate the effort you put in to make our day so special. You are a star and we look forward to seeing you in performances in the not too distant future. Please let us know where we can get details of your performances. A very Big thank you for your making our wedding so memorable. Your singing was so beautiful that all of our guests were moved; many romances were rekindled that day. Thanks again and all our love. Andy and Helen.” A very generous spirit, as Adriene didn’t know this lovely couple before singing for their beautiful wedding. Singing with Martin Clark on digital piano, Adriene’s printed and performed programme “Surprise Serenades” included Voi Che Sapete, The Man I love, Habanera, Annie’s Song, Madame Butterfly, O Mio Babbino Charo, and True Love. Adriene invited the wedding guests to participate with her castanets, during the Habanera, and humming along to Annie’s Song.”
